ফেসবু’কে তারেক রহমানের গভীর কৃতজ্ঞতা : হুবহু দেয়া হলো

প্রিয় বাংলাদেশের বন্ধুরা, বোনেরা ও ভাইয়েরা,
গত শুক্রবার (বৃস্পতিবার) দিনটা সারা জীবনের জন্য আমার হৃদয়ে অবিস্মরনীয় হয়ে থাকবে। দীর্ঘ ১৭ বছর পর আমি আবার আমার মাতৃভূমির মাটিতে পা রেখেছি। আপনাদের উষ্ণ অভ্যর্থনা, ঢাকার রাস্তাজুড়ে মানুষের ঢল, আর লাখো মানুষের দোয়া… এই মুহূর্তগুলো আমি কোনো দিন ভুলতে পারব না।
সবার প্রতি আমার গভীর কৃতজ্ঞতা।
এই ফিরে আসা নিয়ে আমার আর আমার পরিবারের মনে যে ভালোবাসা আর সম্মান কাজ করছে, তা শুধুমাত্র কথায় প্রকাশ করা সম্ভব নয়।
যারা সব প্রতিকূলতার মাঝেও আমাদের পাশে ছিলেন, কখনো আশা হারাননি, আপনাদের সাহস আমাকে প্রতিনিয়ত শক্তি জোগায়।
নাগরিক সমাজের মানুষজন, তরুণরা, পেশাজীবী, কৃষক, শ্রমিক… সব শ্রেণি-পেশার নাগরিকদের ধন্যবাদ। আপনারাই আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দিয়েছেন, বাংলাদেশ তখনই সবচেয়ে শক্তিশালী হয়, যখন এদেশের মানুষ ঐক্যবদ্ধ থাকে।
এই ঐতিহাসিক মুহূর্তটি দায়িত্বশীলতা ও যত্নের সঙ্গে দেশ-বিদেশের মানুষের কাছে তুলে ধরার জন্য গণমাধ্যমকে আন্তরিক ধন্যবাদ। আর যারা আমার ফিরে আসার সময় নিরাপত্তা ও শান্তি নিশ্চিত করেছেন, সেই সাথে দেশের মানুষের নিরাপত্তার জন্য কাজ করে যাচ্ছেন, সেইসব আইন-শঙ্খলা বাহিনীর সদস্যদের সেবার গুরুত্ব অপরিসীম।
আমি অন্যান্য রাজনৈতিক দল ও আন্দোলনের নেতৃবৃন্দকেও ধন্যবাদ জানাতে চাই, যারা আমার দেশে ফেরাকে স্বাগত জানিয়েছেন। গণতন্ত্র, বহুদলীয় সহাবস্থান এবং জনগণের অদম্য ইচ্ছাশক্তির ওপর জোর দেওয়া এসব ভাবনার জন্য আমি কৃতজ্ঞ। আন্তরিকভাবে স্বাগত জানানোর জন্য ধন্যবাদ, একই সঙ্গে গণতান্ত্রিক ও শান্তিপূর্ণ রাজনৈতিক সংস্কৃতির আশাবাদ এবং প্রতিহিংসার রাজনীতি থেকে বেরিয়ে আসার আহ্বানকেও আমি গুরুত্ব দিচ্ছি। এসব পরামর্শ আমি বিনয় ও সম্মানের সঙ্গে গ্রহণ করছি।
গতকাল আমি শুধু কোনো স্বপ্নের কথা বলিনি, আমি বাংলাদেশের ভবিষ্যতের জন্য একটি বাস্তব পরিকল্পনার কথা বলেছি; যে বাংলাদেশে শান্তি ও মর্যাদা থাকবে, যেখানে প্রতিটি মানুষ নিজেকে নিরাপদ ও সম্মানিত মনে করবে, আর প্রতিটি শিশু আশার আলো নিয়ে বড় হবে।
এই পরিকল্পনা সব বাংলাদেশিদের জন্য। একটি ঐক্যবদ্ধ, অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক বাংলাদেশের জন্য। সবাইকে নিয়ে সামনে এগিয়ে যাবার মত বাংলাদেশের জন্য।
দেশে ফিরে আসার সময় আমাকে বরণ করে নেবার জন্য, আপনাদের ধন্যবাদ।
আল্লাহ বাংলাদেশকে এবং আপনাদের সবাইকে সবসময় তাঁর রহমতে রাখুন।
Dear friends, sisters, and brothers across Bangladesh,
Last Friday is a day I will carry in my heart forever, the day I returned to the soil of my homeland after 17 long years. The warmth of your welcome, the sea of faces along the roads of Dhaka, and the prayers of millions are moments, I will never forget.
My deepest thanks to all. Words cannot fully express the respect and love my family and I feel for this homecoming. To our supporters who stood by us through every trial and never lost hope, your courage continues to give me strength.
To members of civil society, youth, professionals, farmers, workers, and citizens from all walks of life, thank you for reminding us that the true power of Bangladesh always lies in its people, when united.
I sincerely thank the media for covering this historic moment with professionalism and care, and all those who serve our nation, including those who ensured safety and calm during my return. Your service matters.
I also wish to acknowledge and thank leaders of other political parties and movements who welcomed my homecoming. I appreciate the thoughtful reflections that emphasised democracy, multiparty coexistence, and the enduring will of the people. I am grateful for the warm welcomes and for the hope expressed for a democratic, peaceful political culture, as well as the call to move beyond politics driven by vengeance. I take these words with humility and respect.
When I spoke yesterday, I spoke of a plan, not just a dream, for Bangladesh’s future: a country where peace and dignity thrive, where every community feels secure and valued, and where every child can grow with hope.
This is a plan for all Bangladeshis. A united, inclusive Bangladesh. A Bangladesh that moves forward together.
Thank you for welcoming me home. May Allah bless Bangladesh and all of you, now and always.
